What is this fruit?

We moved again last March!  The reason is my husband's job change.  I'm sooooo tired of packing and unpacking now and hope we don't move again for a while.  I wanted to complain a lot but decided not to.  I should thank my husband for choosing to move back to where we used to live.  I'm happy to be back to where I belong.

When we moved into this new place, everything was green!  The flowers were all over the place, the smell of the fresh air, the birds singing, the bunnies hopping, and fun to watch the group of wild turkey walking around the neighborhood.

Then this really pretty flower started to bloom.  It was dark pink when it's closed, then became white when it bloomed.  I don't have a cherry tree in this new place, but this one was surely enjoyable.
Several weeks past, and I found this fruit on the same tree.  I thought the gardener told me this was a fruitless tree.  I guess he was wrong!  It looks like an apple.  Don't you think?  If it is, I'm going to have hundreds of apples in the fall!  We also have lemon, orange, Japanese tangerine, persimmon, and loquat.  I don't need to buy fruit any more!

If you know what fruit it is, please let me know.  Thank you.

P.S. I'm back to creative sewing again!
Happy Sewing!

It is definitely an apple. Some have white flowers and some more pink. I have an apple orchard which is how I know. Also some apple flowers are very fragrant and some not at all. Enjoy!

Miriam and Ferne,
The flower was so pretty and even if it was fruitless, I was already happy with it.
But now I know it is an apple tree, I am so excited!!! I hope I can use them for baking. Baking is another thing that I love to do besides sewing.
I will post a photo when I am able to harvest them.

Thank you!
K.
