QM's 100 Blocks Vol. 11

Good morning!  Let's celebrate together!
My original block is selected for Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine vol. 11!
http://www.quiltmaker.com/100blocks.html
You can visit Quiltmaker's blog site for Designer's blog tour.  There are so many beautiful designes in this issue.

Today is my turn to share my block design from Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 11!
"Lovely Butterfly" block #1071 on page 48.  Please visit Quiltmaker's blog to see other designer's designs.
It is very cheerful block and looks like the butterfly is flying.
The technique to make this block is quite simple.  They are all square and rectangles.  NO triangles!!!  I used the stitch and flip technique so anyone can make this block.  It will be perfect for the little girl.

Here is a couple of example of the quilt design using this block.

Quiltmaker magazine is graciously offering the magazine give away.  Please leave a comment saying what color of buttyfly you would like to make!  I will pick a winner on Sunday, May 10 (Mother's Day) at 10 pm PDT.

I hope you will have fun making this block!
Happy quilting.
-Keiko
