My block is in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 10!
 http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quiltypleasures/
Quiltmakers offering the Blog Tour this week and lots of giverways.  Click the image above and visit their website for more fun.

This is my block "Midnight Sky" for Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 10.

Star block is alway one of my favorite blocks.
I used dark background as night sky and light color for star point.
Checkerboard is for expressing twinkling star.

I think it will be fun to use different colors for this block, so I played with my EQ7.  First one looks like Sunflower.
The second one is so crazy!
The third one is kind of like early evening sky when the color of the sky changes with sunset.
The fourth one is chic.  Then I thought it will be beautiful if I used the Japanese taupe fabric for this block.

Enjoy my YouTube video debut!
Special thank you to Quiltmakers magazine for this incredible opportunity.
